Melissa Ingram

WALT list facts about Melissa Ingram.
Today for SSR we read a article about Melissa Ingram who is a athletic swimmer. We had to list ten facts about Melissa Ingram. She is famous for her swimming skills and has been around to a lot of countries for her international tournaments. She is a very interesting person when it comes to her swimming skills. She has been swimming for almost all her life. She is very proud of herself for beating her record at the Beijing olympic games. She went to her first tournament when she was only 16 that's very impressive. I think Melissa Ingram is a very talented person and that she should keep up all the good work she has been doing.

Growth mindset

WALT set personal goals that we will achieve with a growth mindset.
This week we have been doing our goals for this term. The very first goals that we started with were our personal goals. Our personal goals are something that we choose for our self to complete. One of my personal goals were to come to school on time. Coming to school on time was one of my goals because I think that it is important to come on time to get your netbook prepared for the day.

Maths relfection

                                             WALT to equally solve fractions.
Today we had a teacher come into our class and talk to us about fractions. We all got into four groups. We started talking about fractions then the teacher gave every group an equation to answer. What we had to do was work out how much chocolate bars all the kids would get. We had to split it into equal groups. our equation was that we had seven bars and we had to share them between four children. Our answer that our group came up with was 1 whole and three quarters. Me and my group enjoyed working together and solving the equation.
