Christmas countdown

Hi today I will just be talking about what I've done today. Well today I woke up to a big surprise from courier at around 7 or 8 in the morning. My mum called out to me to come downstairs and I did. When I came down she told me to open the box and I did and there were a bunch of presents and my mum didn't even know who it was from and then we read the merry christmas letter inside of the box. I was very thankful for all of the stuff that they sent me and I am going to enjoy sharing everything with my family.

There were stuff like lollies and bunch o balloons, if you don't know what bunch o balloons they are balloons that are all connected to each other and then you put it on the tap and while they are filling up they fall off and you don't need to fill up 1 water balloon at a time. There was also a really nice blanket in there and board games and other fun stuff to share with my family and friends.

A little message to the people that sent me all this stuff I was and is still very thankful and I hope they and everyone else enjoys their christmas with their family and friends. :)

Te Reo follow up task

WALT answer the questions that were given by our teacher.

I learnt more about Te Reo when doing this task and I learnt what the 3 official languages are in New Zealand and they are Sign language, Te Reo and English. As you may or may not know today is the last day of school because it is the holidays and next week is Christmas. I hope everybody enjoys Christmas with their family and friends and enjoys reading my work. I tried to put as much detail and work as I could and I hope it is good work and you like it. I would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and enjoy this year while you can.

John Key Resigning

WALT read an article about John Key resigning and state our opinion.

Hi today I will be posting about a task that I did this morning. The task that I did involved someone you may have heard about which is John Key. I was reading an article about John Key resigning and I was answering a few questions and stating my opinion. New ideas that I found while reading the article was how much days John Key was prime minister, He was prime minister for 2939 days. I enjoyed reading the article and answering these questions.

What I found challenging was trying to write all my ideas down but trying to make sure that it didn't go over 75 words. I found this challenging because our teacher said that we can only have 50 words at the minimum and 60 at the highest but she changed it for us and let us have up to 75 words. Black Gold Reflection

WALT write a reflection about a article named Black gold.

While reading this article I learnt about how people deal about cutting peoples hair and how it looks when they have to brush the hair that they cut. I've never learnt about hair extensions before I've just seen them in salons but now when I think about what they do to get the hair I think it sounds really mean when they don't get a say to whether they want to cut their hair they just have to sit there. 

I thought that this article was sad because of what those people had to go through everytime those people took their hair away from them. When they give the people a price for their hair I think they take it because they need the money for their family and they might be struggling. some people have to go through this more than once and it's sad to see photos of it. I think that I might need to work on writing my work and trying not to repeat myself when writing, for example sometimes I type something and then in the next sentence I type some but I just say it in a different way. I was very unsure about some questions that I had to answer but I tried to ask friends and tried to look it up on google.I hope you enjoyed my reflection about the article Black Gold and leave me some feedback and feedforward for me to look back at.

Graphic design

WALT write a reflection about technology.

A new idea that I found out while at technology was that MDF is short for Medium, Density and Fibreboard. I enjoyed today because I liked watching the MDF scanner cut the shapes out and I liked to draw my wings and pig. What I found challenging was trying to draw the pig and wings because there were a lot to choose from. I was interested in this because I could draw it and it was fun. Kiwican Reflection

WALT write a reflection about our time at Kiwi can on Tuesday.

New ideas that I was thinking of were what I could of added and how to make it more interesting. I enjoyed my time at Kiwi can on Tuesday. I found playing outside challenging because for me it was really cold. I was interested in this activity because I could enjoy it with my friends. Manaiakalani reflection

New ideas that I found were what schools videos were in the films and whose films from my school were going in the film. I enjoyed watching the films with my buddy. Speech reflection

WALT write our speech reflection.
Hi today I have written a reflection about my speech. I had to answer some questions about my speech. I enjoyed writing my reflection. Next time I think I might have to add a little bit more information. In my reflection I have tried to list all of the things that were asked of me to do. I tried to leave some space but there was to much information and if I made the letters smaller you would not be able to read it. Technology

Today the year 7&8's went to tamaki college for technology. In technology the subjects are graphic design, cooking class and hard materials. I am in graphic design and the teacher is miss ferguson. In graphic design we are making flying pigs. I am enjoying being in this group and learning new things about graphic design.
