Reading task

HI today I will be posting about my reading task that I finished, WHat we have to do is choose either a 2, 3 or 4 leveled school journal and then choose which story or poem you want to read and then choose weither you think its a narrative or recount etc. I read a poem and then I had to answer some questions to tell you about what I read, what I understand about this and even trying to make your own poem. I tryed to make a poem at the end. I hope you like my work today and leave some feedback or feedforward.

Pacific paradise follow up

Hi today I will be blogging about my PMIS chart that I have done. I didnt really know what I was doing at first so I asked someone for help. It was a good thing they were in my group and helped me complete my task. I dont really know what to think about this task but it was a very calm task that you could just maybe sit in a corner and do. I think its a good task to do so you can get better at showing depth in your work.

SOLO current events

 Hi yesterday I did a solo current events about a cyclone making its way towards peoples home. This task is about being a deeper thinker and trying to break everything down into little detailed sentences and listing key points. It was really sad to read that people had to leave there property and go to a safer place but I hope that everyone is safe now and still alive. I hope you enjoy reading my slides and it would be nice if you could leave me some feedback and feedforward.

Hi today I was given these words and try and find the meaning to them. I did so and now I want to share my work with all of use that may not know what they mean. I definitely didn't know what they meant but after researching about the words I do now. I had no idea what they could of meant and I hope that this helps you out if you didn't know what they meant either. SOLO current events

WALT apply the SOLO thinking framework to critically examine a current event.
Hi today I am writing about a ASOLO current events I have just finished. I wrote about a recent truck crash on the southern motorway. The motorway was very slow today because of this accident. One of the trucks was carrying logs and the other was a freight truck. We have just started learning about SOLO and this is my second attempt at trying to do a SOLO current events so I hope you enjoy my work and leave me some feedback and feedforward for me.=)

Reading

WALT  to write about an article.
Today I read an article about four people dieing in Dreamworld. People who were there that day and people that heard about this tragic accident has come to dreamworld to show respect and put some flowers in the garden they lit candles and stood with everyone while they stand with everyone together. There is a lot of reporters going to dreamworld to investigate more about what happened. Dreamworld has donated money to red cross but red cross would not take the donation. People still don't know what they will do with the donation but they will hopefully find out soon. I hope you enjoyed my reflection and leave me some feedback and feedforward

Summarising

WALT write a summary about a story by using the keywords.

This morning for reading we have been learning about Inferring and predicting. We found out that inferring and predicting are very similar. My task was to use all of the keywords that I highlighted in the story and do a summary about the story. The title of the story that I was working on is the Wesley mystery. While me and my group were with the teacher we worked on what keywords are, keywords are what help you understand the story. I hope you enjoy my work and leave me some feed back and feedforward.

Today I finished my google drawing about the opening ceremony for Rio Olympics. We got told to look up or research about the Rio Olympics and the Opening Ceremony. Here I have listed stuff about the Rio Olympics and the Opening Ceremony. I have made google drawing and put stuff about people competing and stuff about when the Opening Ceremony is. Kia ora and here is my DLO about gold mining.I have written 7 critical facts about gold mining.I have photos of what gold looks like and what they use to mine in the tunnel.I explained who the first discoveries,where it is found and more.
